Have a couple more than I need, retailers seem to be dumping them. Not sure weather its time to buy or sell? Keep'em and they might become restricted or worse prohib.

I wouldn’t sell them because you’re worried about re-classification , they are NR now , can’t worry about the future. I think they will stay NR personally anyway, even when/if Libs have new gun bill. If you’re trying to thin the herd then no time like the present I say. I’ve been thining the herd myself a little lately. Trying to sell what I never really shoot and trying to get down to about 8 sks instead of 15 or 16 lol. They are an addictive little rifle lol.

I don't expect the SKS to go restricted. It is a favoured fire arm of our First Nations people. I don't see the Libs taking them away from hunting use.

Keep them because they're only going to go up. Not sure if it's true, but an employee at a gun store told me we put sanctions on Russia because their soldiers are in the Ukraine, so no more Russian guns. I bought my second SKS at Cabela's last Tuesday for $199.99 plus tax. Apparently they haven't been that cheap in years, so I couldn't resist. I'm seeing some online priced for close to $300, and that's wooden stock. Mind you those are in pristine condition with laminate stock, but still. The Americans could buy an SKS 25 years ago for $75 and now they can sell in some states for hundreds of dollars because of the norinco ban down there.

I also ordered one of those SKS's last weekend.... yours ship out yet?

Changing the SKS to prohibited status would be a Pandoras Box. I am 45 when I was 19 years old I would have had prohibs and was grandfathered to own them. 40 years from now I and everyone that has a prohibited license will probably dead and the guns will finally be confiscated. If they prohibit the sks and grandfather owners like they did in the past then they may push back the clock by decades for confiscation of all those scary guns the liberals prohibited back in the 90s.
