For items usually delivered to the door, if no one is there to receive the item, we will leave it in the mail receptacle or in a Safe Drop location. We will leave a Safe Drop card telling the receiver the location of the item.

Card (hold) for pickup
The item will be taken directly to the post office for pick up. At the sender’s request, we won’t attempt delivery to the receiver’s address.

A Delivery Notice Card will be left for the receiver telling them when to pick up the item at the designated post office. One valid piece of government-issued photo identification is required when picking up the item.

What is a Delivery Standard?
The delivery standard represents our delivery commitment for items deposited on business days before the local cut-off time. Deposits received on holidays and weekends, or after the last collection time specified on a street letter box or at a Post Office, are considered as accepted on the next business day. Read more about delivery standards

What is Expected Delivery?
Expected delivery is an estimate of when we will attempt delivery of an item based on where it is in our network. This date is not guaranteed and will continue to be updated as your item travels to its destination. The date may be before, after, or on the same day as the Delivery Standard and is updated based on local information.

I didn't go through the proper phone channels because one to two business days translates into never.
I'm told CP is the holdup at this point. Because they contracted some company in rural Alberta to ship.

So now I have to wait for the order to ship to Ontario where the rails are to get shipped to me.

I asked if I could cancel the rail and just get the the order sent courier at this point . Maybe I'll get a call maybe I won't . Bottom line is they're overwhelmed.

Everyone is frustrated including me, I wasn't being a jerk.

I just hope I don't get one that has to be sent back. to late now but I think it's high time for TI to include different shipping options.

Why do I gotta beg.....100% gonna refuse better have 10 mags all I gotta say

If you refuse the package upon arrival and its returned to sender for a full refund, how are you going to know how many mags are in the box lol ?

Just a heads up, you posted the tracking number on here, if they are following this thread they will be able to link you to the tracking number, read all your recent posts and use that against you...

Congrats on getting your tracking number man I want a refund I tapped out and if I do get the rifle actually delivered I'm gonna send it back anyways.......what's the return policy on a used and fired type 81? If I take not to the range and find out its damaged will they still refund me 100%? I'm think I'm gonna "rent the rifle" for a bit if I don't get my refund first

All your posts have become nonsense .

Trust me I'll know know many mags are in the box just like they did !

I'm gonna strip what I need from the package just like TI did

You can't just strip parts from the package and then ship it back to TI
TI isn't going to accept the gun back after you go shoot it at the range, well they might but your gonna pay huge restocking fees
What the hell is wrong with you?
Do yourself a favor and do not accept the package when you get it and return to sender, your just gonna get yourself into trouble

I might give it a couple more days Might be a good one to hold onto for resale down the road I have my doubts they can get another shipment in a timely manor

Ironheart, you need to cool down a bit. Legally speaking if you accept the package and "keep" anything and then shoot the gun (or not) and finally demand a full refund after you purposely tampered with the stuff and kept some crap, you could be accused of fraud. The very best case scenario is that TI will do you a favor and refuse to refund your money, without bringing forth any criminal accusations.

You have 2 options: either accept the package and keep the rifle (and only return it if it's defective) or refuse the whole package and obtain a full refund. There is no third "I'm in a tantrum, so I'll do whatever I wish and steal some sh*t" option.

The wait sure sucked and lots of things appear to have been mishandled logistics-wise, but it is what it is. You're not alone in this boat and TI will have to work very hard to re-establish their reputation with a lot of folks here who got shorted on their orders and/or who had to wait 2 months for their order to leave TI's shop, with numerous broken promises in between. A reputation takes years to build and only seconds to destroy, as a wise saying goes.

The only concern now is whether or not the the rifles they mailed to everyone just now have been inspected and are not bent or "hand fitted" (dremeled) by some Chinese slave laborer who would rather be executed than forced to spend one more day at that factory, lol! Fingers crossed...

I wasn't aware the T81 reciever was designed to use mounted optics. All I've actually seen in the Chinese pics are quad rails and iron sights. Do they also have reciever mounts?

Of coarse. Do u honestly think they would produce a gun, that has the barrel bent off 3 degrees and consider that acceptable??? Pull ur head out of the sand, and unless u too received a bent t81, how bout u stfu on the subject.

I got my fixed stock and love it! Im hoping people with folders waiting will cancel their order so i can snag one lol

very coarse language here, must have to do with your masterful use of the English language.
what else can you expect from a newbie?

I also have a multiple rifle order but got my tracking yesterday.
I assume that we are last due to ordering more than 1 rifle and they way they are packing them up. Perhaps TI will have a quick look at the rifles so we get good examples.
But with the order being submitted in Ontario and the rifle coming from Calgary I doubt it.

Orders with quadrails are likely last as per TI'S last update telling us they didn't show until a couple days ago. + you got a tracking number and I don't yet. Ordered 1 folder with a quadrail and a few extra mags. Ordered as presale went live! So ya! Who knows for sure yet?

I don't know if it will be a good thing or a bad thing that I will be among the last to get mine, I'm worried about the number of defective rifles being reported and how many extra rifles TI may have on hand to replace damaged/defective rifles. I hope they don't try to reship returned rifles out to different customers to see if they can pawn some off on them! I would expect better than that from TI.

So did you handle one? Yes/No

Yes. Many times now. I actually have my own example.
Action seems very nice as does the trigger. I have no complaints with any of the machining and since this is more or less an interesting novelty to me I'm very pleased with it.
It has one small cosmetic issue that TI is willing to correct with exchange but I'm keeping it.
Looks to be a fun rifle.
