** Your NEA102 build **

Can someone post a picture of their BCL 102 showing how far the stock gas tube protrudes into the upper receiver?

Edit: On an unrelated sidenote - here is the best representation of CGN users asking Ryan about the next pre-order of 102s:

Can anyone comment on these? Looking for options for my bcl to stay in 6.5 but lighten her up

Ill drop 2# just by switching from my BA 6.5 bbl. I listed it, but damn it is so accurate makes me want to keep it and buy another upper if/when they come up for sale

So, since I'm unwilling to read 144+pages. Has anyone tried a KAC rail on this rifle? Also what about a fixed stock, ultimately ending up with a quasi SR-25 looking rifle?
Regards

Have you found the rifle buffer and adjustable gas block to be beneficial? Is that an original bolt carrier?

IMO .... the only required mod was the adjustable gas block. It was needed to resolve the over gassing of the system in its OEM configuration.

The other mod was to move to a low mass JP Bolt carrier and Silent Capture Buffer system. Not mandatory - just preference.

Sweet, tracking says my SLR handguard and adjustable gas block are now in Vancouver.I will be ready when my GenII OD Green arrives.

Seriously considering rifle lenth and JP low mass for " stage II ", depends on how I like the rifle.

Before rebarreling I'm going to see how it shoots and make sure nothing else changed.

Nice! I've been looking at that very barrel myself...did you order driectly from Fulton Armory or is there a Canadian vendor that carries their products?
