Looking for a quality 9mm carbine, suggestions?

No budget, need it left hand friendly, 9mm, high quality and NR

Two that I am really considering are the TNW aero takedown as it is great for lefty's and has the added benefit of a fast takedown, but hard to say if its comfortable as the trigger is so close to the grip and it's considered a survival rifle not a constant plinker.

Other is the thureon defence competition 9mm, it can come in a left hand version, but then it is limited to only my use (no kids). Unless the brass ejects far forward, but since the action is so short and close, I doubt this. But the rifle does look like a shooter (plinker)

Anyone have any bad experiences with either, or any notable observations let me know!

Not sure what others are worth while looking at, don't care for the cx4 storm, just looks too ugly, prefer AR styling.

Yea, I am more so looking for guns that have controls that are similar to ar, I am not a fan of having something that doesn't feel natural or has controls in odd placement.
Does JP make a NR Canadian gun? Those would be the cats as.

I know, I may end up with one of those, as they are always circling on the EE, but just don't care for the look of them, as Hickok45 says " a gun from the year 2040".
Apparently they do work, while the right to left swap is just a few mins and no tools.
 
No budget? Buy a 9mm MPX Carbine, then get Herron Arms to make a non restricted length barrel for you. Like this one:

If not the Raven 9, or the FX9 .... id suggest the JR as well. I love mine. The ASR is excellent in many ways but ive yet to witness one function even close to what the average shooter would regard as being reliable.
 
Bought a Just Right Carbine 9 mm made near Rochester NY. Parts service has been good. For me it chews out the bullseye at max indoor range distance. Used 5 types of ammo. For some reason it prefers to cycle quickly than one round at a time. Uses glock 9mm magazines. About 7 lbs. Added a cheap red dot. Never misses and also a pistol grip on the forestock. The iron sights don't work for me. Needed to cut the post down with a dremel. Waste of time to bu them. In my hand for $1000. It's a keeper. All controls are ambidextrous. No connection to maker or dealer.

I've shot about 4500 rounds through my Cx4, it's a very reliable design and ambidextrous. Uses Beretta 92 and 96 magazines. Accuracy-wise, it's about 3-4 MOA at 100m, and I've been experimenting with 110gr .357" bullets in 9mm cases and got it to shoot consistently under 3 MOA at 100m.

Be aware that it comes out of the box with a very stiff trigger, though you can make a DIY modification that helps with that quite a lot. There's also an US maker of replacement triggers, which are apparently top notch.

Most people are just installing budget minded Free float foreends on their JR's.... it seems to be relativity easy, the biggest issue if any people come across is whether or not theyl have enough spacer rings to align the foreend vertically.
 
Don't the JR's require the use of a Phillips screwdriver for field stripping? I thought they had a few fine thread screws that were required to be stripped or lost every once and a while?

There are three Allen head screws to remove the trigger group and mag well, but is not necessary for field striping
