Hello, looking at buying snow camo and, since I already have regular camo, thought I would try the cover layer type stuff. My question is do you buy one size above your regular parka and pants? Thanks
I just buy the military white nylon stuff the same size as what I normally wear....
I have also used a sheet, and it does work. However, in my case anyway, I found it cumbersome, and the snow stuck to it unless it was really cold. I am looking for a pair of non-disposable unlined oversized white coveralls that don't cost a zillion dollars. I'll then make my own branches on it.
Do you really need it? Good question. I'd say if you are on the ground, you need all the help you can get, but, if you can become a stump, and don't move at all, you can get away with a lot.
I have one tree stand, where the deer consistently look right at me. Why? I guess My shape doesn't fit in with the tree, then of course there's the ladder and stand itself. If I remain motionless, they generally stop looking at me after a bit. The camo would be good there I think.
