The Battle Rifle Pictures Thread

This is my latest project. Maybe not as functional as could be, but I like the looks a lot.
(Sorry for the low quality of the pic. I haven't had the chance to take one in good daylight yet)

That is a beauty Odd shot! Looks like you have the Dlask gas lock on there; what front blade sight did you end up putting on it? I've read that short barreled Norcs require a specific height of blade sight to work properly with that setup. Also what muzzle brake do you have there?

Thanks!

I ordered the front blade sight from Springfield Armory. I ordered the one for the Scout, which has the shorter barrel and corresponding taller front sight.
The muzzle brake is the Good Iron brake from Smith Enterprise

nice Odd Shot. very EBR'ish. i like

Thanks! That was the look I was going for with the Blackfeather stock

Nice rifles.
Maybe something to evaluate:
When using a similar sling attachment over the handguard I found it messed my harmonics and thus my accuracy.
My understanding is that the tension the stock ferrule puts down on the front band must be consistent. For the same reason we grease the front band tab and make sure the handguard doesn't touch the stock.

Thanks for the feedback, but the "attachment" you are referring to is actually a velcro loop just used to secure the sling when I am doing some running around, it does not support the weight of the gun at all.

Thanks to a very nice nutter here, I have acquired the unicorn piece of the M14E2, the folding front grip. And to top it off it came with the original sling (aka BAR sling with extra hook) and other hardware.

Now to get my collaboration done and produce a buttplate.

Seeing as how you asked.....
