$5 if i bought it
$500 to 600 is a fair/good buck for it. - Doesn't appear abused - Swivel stud in the stock is a negative - Blue-ing loss seems even and in the right places.
A lesson to be learned by all is NEVER install those stupid swivel kits......
Aside from that it's a nice postwar gun - if they don't like it they can pay north of $1000- for a Miroku.
D.
P.S. Anyone who doesn't like it can take out the stud and plug the hole or put a front swivel back on and leave it as is,

Not funny you contribute shi*. People are asking real questions, the $5 bit has got old! It should bring 450-500 around here.
So... if you know what it is and how rare you think it is... why ask? Thanks to all those who contributed useful input! I like the rifle because I can tell that the wear is from carrying it with one hand, and that the receiver has never been touched with a screwdriver.
This is a flatband, made not even three years during pre-64 production. One could say that it is a special feature, maybe even a collector piece.
Now this one'ear is optimisticnick at it's finest.
