SHOT Show 2018 – Tikka T1x MTR

So just to clarify. Are t3 and t3x stocks interchangable with each other and therefore interchangable with this?

I wonder if my spare Manners MCS-EH1 for my T3x CTR will fit?

Unfortunately, not seeing any left handed options on their website. Between Tikka and Ruger's new rimfire, you'd think somebody would make a left handed model!

Captain here (actual captain btw)

Will ask the real questions

1- extra mag availability!!??
2- exchangeable pistol grip availability!!??
3- does it accept tikka standard mounting solutions? Ie. a rail ?
4- is the barrel removeable or is it gunsmith service item?

Thanks for any answers, I understand this is a new rifle with limited info available

Best regards

Very very well thought out in terms of all the stocks avail today for a T3x being able to be used on this new T1x......winner!

the top of the action is drilled and tapped, not sure what the dovetail size is as of yet but being the same footprint as the full size action I am willing to bet everything already on the market is going to fit this rifle, will confirm when mine arrives.......first order of business is to swap out the trigger pull spring

Spoke to the designer of this rifle at SHOT. His first name is Mikka and he works for Tikka. Go figure.
Can't add too much to what's already known and posted here. I can confirm any T3x stock will fit this rifle. I suspect MDT's T3X chassis will fit just fine. Top of receiver has a typical 11mm rim-fire dovetail, as well as four drilled and tapped holes for bases. I don't know the hole pattern. Tikka center-fire pattern rings won't fit. The trigger is the same one as on the T3x rifles, so it's fully adjustable and aftermarket T3x triggers should work. Barrel is hammer forged, like the big bores. And, of course, SAKO barrels and Tikka barrels are all made on the same machines. The magazine is 10 rds and is a double stack which narrows down to single for feeding. It's close to being a flush fit and Mikka said it was the hardest part to design.
In hand, the rifle feels solid. I suspect it'll be a great shooter and a real winner for Tikka.
