Nice, this will be my first blued one hopefully.
mine arrived today, i must say i was a little disappointed to see i received a what appears to be black painted sks since i was expecting a blued version but so it goes i guess.
Actually, Sudbury shooter in post 3 said they were blued, I don't think Wanstalls did! Internal pinning mostly Tula, great rifles! I would think these are part of the CTC returned sks to North Sylva!
Here is a photo of my two 54s, Tula (left) and Izzy (right). Also note a diamond or square with a strike through it (as seen on the Izzy) indicates the rifle was refurbished.

Wanstalls;
Pardon my inexperience with SKS rifles, but what exactly does the term "military rearsenals" mean?
Trying to understand if these are unissued new vs. refurbished.
Thanks!
Doh, yep yer right, sorry! Well if you want to send it back I am sure they have another buyer at that price!nope, they said it.

So here is mine i just pulled it from the box. Dingy forget the cleaning kit, oil can and stripper clips in the bottom of the box. It's marked with the square with diagonal line through it 1st grau arsenal. No date stamped on the receiver though i must say i know nothing about the sks i just bought one to have one. Now i get to open the bcl102
