Russian SKS Sale for $209.99 from $299.99?... YUP

I have to say, it seems some of you are upset that wanstalls sent non blued rifles. I believe they said the ones they checked were blued, but that they weren't guaranteed, and on the website it also said no returns anyways... They didn't have to offer them for this price, even paying shipping was a pretty good deal. If you wanted them to check how ever mag was pinned, how every specific rifle was condition wise, ect, it would probably cost more.... That's why they just wanted to sell them cheap and get rid of them instead of getting into so much detail with every rifle.

Thanks Wanstalls for the sale, although I had an SKS in my cart twice but somehow decided against it since I have one already lol.
 
Does it fire??? You spent $209 on a gun..... Relax if it's blued or painted... If you are that concerned spend more than $209 on an sks.....
 
im not upset at all i was just thinking i was getting something slightly different but thats what you get for buying sight unseen. just would have been nice to get a glossy blued sks as my first buuuuut for the price these days, you really cant go wrong with this deal. i just wanted this as a cheap beater and it is what it is.
as for the mag its got a pin welded to the bottom of the follower.
as for the crazy awesome mouse pad, that was sent along with a good size order of titegroup a couple years back.
 
I got a painted SKS with a heavily sanded stock and a rusty bolt carrier/recoil spring. Not entirely happy, but this was going to be a project SKS anyway so I don't care.

You’re correct Suther, I couldn’t remember the spelling and trusted google to supply it lol

Google lets me down less often than autocorrect, so I was negligent in double checking.
 
The screen shot on Post #86 say's blued.. Nothing about mixed blued or BBQ paint.
I ordered 2 blued based on Wanstalls post
What is a BBQ paint one worth on the EE??? $150 at most

Military rearsenaled or factory refurbished is what these will be. That means it went through the refurbishment process to bring the once issued and used rifle up to like new milspec. It would likely have had items like the gas tube, pistons, stocks magazines, barrels etc replaced as needed as each firearm was evaluated during that procedure. It essentially makes it a firearm that functions like a new firearm though psrts may be force matched or not with the serials. The chances of getting an never issued SKS now are slim to none unless you buy private sales from someone letting one go from their collection, and you will pay the premium price to match.

1954 tula blued receiver, mag doesn’t match, non frankenpinned. Nice!

Also 54 Tula - Numbers match except mag, not frankenpinned. Blued, nice dark (original) wood with a few dings. Happy :>)
