Bullet pulling

I haven't had that many missing primers, but I just use a little piece of tape to cover the primer hole to not get powder everywhere.

That's a good idea. I have a loadmaster so sometimes I forget to refill the primer tray. I'm going to install an led under the powder drop station as a no primer alarm.

Good to know, that kinetic hammer can be a real pain when you have a bunch to pull.

Yes, I pulled almost 300 a couple weeks ago with a kinetic puller due to a stupid rookie mistake. I usually check every 100 or so to verify powder weight from my measure. First time I did not do that. Ever. (never had an issue before in over 30 years); did a first off and a last off; last off was 3 grs. heavier than my set point. 3 gr. in a 45ACP is a big deal.

Banging those out taught me the value of following strict QA principals.

I received my bullet puller from the YouTuber I mentioned in a previous post. Here's a video of it in action.

All in it was about $45 CAD. It works well with my crimped 9mm rounds. Should have no problem with rifle calibers. I'll try some surplus x39 next.

Now, that is slicker than snot on a door-knob!

what's really exciting with kinetic pullers, when there is powder on the floor, is the little explosions you get from hitting powder with the hammer. First I had that happen had me giggling pretty good.

I clamped a 3 x 3 hardwood post to the corner leg of my reloading bench. Perfect spot to hammer on. The deader blow on the wood pulled bullets more effectively than pounding on the corner of the bench itself.
