Some other considerations. People love the Shadow 1 so it is not like you would be disappointed. If you are not the kind of person that constantly gets the upgrade itch or is always wondering what that more expensive gun would be like, sounds like you would prefer to use the cash on other things. The 2 has upgrades, the most relevant of which (to the average range plinker) is the adjustable rear. The other modifications are probably appreciated more by the seasoned competitor, and even then some still prefer their 1. Over long term however price difference is not that much really compared to ammo cost.
