^ the DIP rail will also leave nice screw marks on the top of the rail.
Quick question for some CZ 452 owners out there ... If you install scope rings on the 11mm dovetail, and then remove the rings/scope later on, will there be marks left on the receiver where the rings were installed? Thanks!
I have plenty of CZ / Brno rimfires and after upgrading scopes several times on each rifle through the years there is no marks whatsoever left on any dovetail. If you use good quality rings and mount them properly it’s a non issue. It would have to take very unevenly machined rings and torqued way too tight to score the dovetails.
Get the EGW picatinny rail and your receiver will be nice and pretty looking if you ever take it off down the road. The dip rail has set screws going down against the top of the receiver which is a bit irritating
