I can work lots of wood, and some metal; might be able to product something like that adapter plate

Looks like cedar, better used for sauna benches not gunstocks lol.

Nice spot. It is. I took scraps I had left around to try this mod. I didn't want to scrap a nice piece of walnut

It's my own 3d model of a buttstock adapter I've made - just tell me what you need I got some stuff that's functional but the angles were still not perfectly matching on the last prototype. Like I said, measuring those angles correctly is a pain. If you are working with wood, you'll get there eventually by cutting just a little off every time.

Be careful with those triggers, they're REALLY hard and can peen the back of the bolt carrier where the tail resets the trigger. Check out youtube to see what I mean.

EDIT: what caliber is your Valmet in, I ask because I just saw your comment about getting a new gas block
