Budget scope recommendation for CZ 527 in 7.62x39

If you want the best optics I would recommend ONLY Swarovski or Leica - you're looking at $4000 - 4500.00. However, no hunting for the big games allowed in Canada
so you can buy $100.00 scope and will work.

What, where? No big game hunting allowed? I wished someone told me only a tasco, baraska or simmonds scope was solely appropriate for hunting elk, it would have saved me a lot of mula.

Tradeex has the single piece mount for 100$. Not a bad idea as opposed to using a pair of rings. You won’t need a lapping bar with single piece unit.

Bushnell ak optic iluminated 265$ plus 30 rebate!

^ Thanks... it looks like a good option...

This is probably a stupid question, is a scope rated for 223 really that much different for rifle in X39? Seems like the internet has different opinions... no surprise there I suppose.

Précision optic , but out of stock sorry.. I paid 259 $ for one last week..

Any centerfire scope will be fine. The biggest difference would be the reticles. A scope intended for x39 will have a reticle that reflects the trajectory of a x39.

If there isn’t any kind of a drop reticle then it doesn’t matter.

I, too, am in the process of purchasing and getting a 527 carbine in x39 scoped for spring. I think I'm going to go with the Warne maxima 16mm medium height rings but haven't decided on a scope yet. This thread has been helpful and...entertaining, to say the least. :) Anyone have any recommendations on something in the 400$-700$ range for a low to medium powered variable?

Nikon Monarch 3 2-8x32, Redfield Revenge 2-7x34, etc. Don't really need much more magnification than that as the effective hunting range for the 7.62x39 is usually with 200yds.
I had a Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 1.75-5x32 on mine.
