Surplus CZ 85s/first pistol purchase

I don't care about wear, and there is no shortage of "good" ones for $500. I'm hoping the undercuts the already saturated market a little so we can see some deals.

Just following up on this "Good" conditions vary and I'm guessing the crate is running low. My CZ 85 is wose than the other "Good" condition one. But it is as described as lots of holster wear so its not like I got a real #### one. I bought it from M* because I thought it would be cool to have a handgun from a country that technically doesn't exist.

Barely legible made in Czechoslovakia font, I might try to see if I can get it to pop out more.

Lever Arms has a Surplus BUL STORM Pistol that is supposed to be based on the cz 75. Looks like it's a clone with not 100% compatible parts though ...... just going by the description ... I don't know anything about the pistol myself. Israeli made.

A friend has a Bull storm . built like a Brick SH*T house. very nice pistol .

A little more wear than I expected.

Yeah this thread was first posted way back in August, so I'm not too surprised that all the real good ones went out the door already. I wish I could have jumped on the VG ones as only $50 more and they looked a lot nicer. I mainly bought it for the Made in Czechoslovakia markings and $500 is a half decent price for a CZ pistol.

If I think its worth it, I might see if I can get it reblued or maybe recoated with something to make it look nice. It's pretty good and for my first handgun I like it.

I’m sure it will still be a really fun gun and no worries about scratching it up in the meantime .... maybe cerakote in a few years after getting some good use out of it.
