7.62x39 seems to show its potential in a #1 !
I'm sure most of you know, the 7.62x39 was a very small run done by Ruger with 'left over' barrels from the 303's built for CGNers!
I have a 7mm and it's great but I'd sure like a 45-70 to join it. The laminated stocks are kind of nice.
Really? I can't stand the laminates. Different strokes, I guess. Then again, it keeps you out of the walnut-stocked ones!
Agree... walnut/blued for me in No.1's...
Had to laugh tonight. I've got an SKS for sale on a Facebook group and buddy wanted to trade me for his Versamax, which I declined. Then he asked me if I had any hunting rifles for sale so I decided to either get rid of him or make a mittful of cash off him. Told him that I had a #1H in 458 for sale. Sent him a few pics and then he asked me for a price. Last I heard of him! Some people make me laugh.
I'd love to have a stainless walnut 1A in 7x57.....the poor mans version of Ardents custom. That thing is incredible!
It would be a rare scenario having a buyer inquire after an SKS and walk away with a No.1!![]()
True. I had to sell my SKS because it would argue with my #1 in the safe and keep me up at night.
