Well just picked up my 2nd CZ858. anyone else gonna buy more to celebrate the new law.

;)

And witch Org will support our fight ? Once someone knows please post it here. Ive never donated to Canadian orgs,since they sit on their collective butts, collect fees and let laws pass.
 
I'm curious what the grandfather clause includes. You'll be allowed to continue to own them, but can you transport them?

I may be reading it wrong but the way i understand it is that you can keep shooting it at the range, assuming they provide the att. However, again I could be wrong, it looks like the grandfathering refers to these rifles only so it's not like it gets you access to previously prohibited rifles. If I'm wrong someone please correct me.

Check out the CSSA site... a 12 9 license can shoot and buy.
 
If I can get one for 8 to 900 I will as I don't want to spend more than that as they may be worth 500 once passed.

They will follow the exact same script as before by initially issuing ATTs (or SAPs) for range use, then a few years down the road they refuse to issue same. Divide and conquer using incremental steps. We've already seen this movie and know the ending - so why is there any doubt that is what will happen???
 
2 things to note.

One: what's everyone's consensus on EVERYONE buying an 858 or Swiss rifle? Just as a middle finger to the libs. Consider it an investment, and instead of spending a few hundred bucks on donations, you can get a "free" 858 out of your contribution.

Two: consider that we may be able to lean on the conservative to amend this #### once again. If we do everything we can to ensure a PC majority in 2019, and if we can organize ourselves to really push harder than we ever have, we just might be able to get them to undo what's about to be done.
