Does anyone else notice the oversupply on the EE and yet the price gouging at the same time.. I understand there’s a frenzy over recent news. But seriously gunnies, you could pick these up for $500 if you calmed your biscuits. When markets flood the prices come down lol... Enjoy your rifle, and your sales boys.

I've noticed lots of WTT.

I'll take a mint one for $500 in the GTA.

Swiss arms at $3600+ tax it's as expensive as a Swiss watch (cheapie one) What happens to left over stock at retailers on July 1?

At that point they could only then be sold to those who hold the 12(14) condition on their license. The customer base will be limited and prices will drop down.

Was that the one in Edmonton? because I'm certain I saw an ad saying $800 right off the hop yesterday. Congrats on the grab :)

I was being sarcastic... my initial post ended with a "/s", then switched to a ":)".

I still have a WTB ad up, but won't pay more than 500$ for one at this point. If it goes 'safe queen' im dewatting it and making a lamp out of it.

If eventually you can't take it to the range what's the point just my opinion.

My thoughts exactly. In fact, I posted this elsewhere on the forum:

I remember the last day my friend used his FN at the range. The next day his SAP had expired & his FN has been a safe queen ever since.

The reason they are giving folks the 12(9) on their license is to DENY them the proper 12(3) converted auto prohibited class... Now you see...

Think about it, they DON'T want younger guys getting the 12(3) because they'd all run out and be able to get converted autos, even though they are paperweights.

So... This whole 858 & Swiss fiasco is denying folks the 12(3) proper classification AND also being approached as a SOFT Prohibition @ first, saying you can still keep it & still take it to the range. Why? Because they need folks to comply and register their 858 and Swiss rifles.

But, I believe they will shortly thereafter stop allowing the 12(9) firearms to be taken to the range...

History is repeating itself & IMHO this is how this will all play out.

Sigh

There is zero guarantee or indication that a long term ATT will even be available for the Swiss or 858.

When C-71 is approved price will be less than half current retail and continue to drop
