Irunguns AR180B versus WK190-C...thoughts?

The warranty coverage/support for the new Wolverine product is a known quantity, i.e. above reproach.

What's it like for the other one?

The rifle is a No Dak Spud hybrid 180B. RWA did an amazing job on the upper receiver. Completely customizable for the right or left handed shooter. It comes with Magpul furniture including a 5 position rear stock, (not shown) and optional 12 or 18" aluminum foregrip. The rifle comes equipped with ambi saftey, and optional bolt lock and folding rear stock.

The rifle is fully warrantied locally and has a Non Restricted FRT. These rifles will be in customers hands the 2nd week of June.

Price point?
Can we preorder?

The RWA / IRG / Nodak will be sub 2g.

Having held it today, i can say this thing is quality. It truly is the modernization of the 180b platfrom. Can be modified for left or right hand shooting. Free float rail in two different lengths. Bolt hold open and release.

If they had them available at the show I would have bought it immediately.

You should have taken some pictures for us.

Will the Nodak Spuds be finished off in Canada to ensure it matches the upper? Looking at the picture the finish is totally different between the upper and lower. Yes I im aware its a crappy photo of a pre production model.

Also keep the fixed stock from the picture or make it a option. Magpul collapsible stocks are a dime a dozen. Great for AR's. But a fixed stock looks natural on a AR180.

The lowers come finished out of the US. That is how they are. In hand, you can not tell any color difference. It takes all AR stocks through a buffer tube adapter at the back which actually has a take down pin to secure the rear of the upper to the lower. It is solid.

The side plates on the upper removed with screws. Left hand and right hand sets of side plates will eventually be available so one can swap or potentially chose which side they want the gun to function. Left hand will come a bit later due to having to finish the rest of the conversion parts.

Side plates are super strong. They torture tested one and apparently it took the weight of a Chevelle to compromise it. Your face will be safe in other words.

I am curious to know the price of the AR180B... "Sub 2K" is nowhere near $995 for the WK offering.

Does anyone know details about barrels on the IRG NODAK RWA collaboration rifle? Just wondering if it takes a standard ar-15 barrel like the WK180-C does? If so would it be a mid length or rifle length gas system?

The ability for the WK180-C to take standard off the shelf ar-15 barrels was the deciding factor in me placing an order for one.

Our upper takes standard rifle length AR15 barrels. You can change out a barrel in approximately 10 minutes. Standard model is chambered to 5.56 but can be changed out to .223 Wylde or .300 blackout for example.

Awesome. Thanks for answering. The fact you use a rifle length gas system opens up even more off the shelf barrel options. The WK180-C uses a mid length and when it comes to barrels of 18.5" or 20" most of them have rifle length gas systems so off the shelf barrels are more limited.

Due to you using the rifle length gas system I see more potential in your product.

Thanks.

We have produced this upper with customization in mind....it will have options to possibly surpass the modularity of an AR15. Is that a bold stament?...yes it is ;)

It is a piston gun. No gas tube.
