Vegan protesters return to restaurant where owner cut, ate deer meat in front of them
Has anyone been following the owners troubles with Vegan's? Google it, it's entertaining.
Torontonian's ( right term?) who hunt, or support it...should wander down and support him. Buy a meal, step on a Vegan's 'Jesus boot'... something.
Mod's; not sure where should go, it concerns hunting more than firearms...move it as you see fit.

If I lived in the area, I definitely would have been down there by now. The video of the "activist" and his commentary while the owner butchered the deer leg right in front of them made me giggle. Good stuff.
 
I've been following this story, and yes it is to laugh. It also provides an insight into the 'progressive/hippie/SJW' mindset. These loons had been picketing outside this guy's restaurant yelling, waving signs about, calling him a murder and, worse, blocking access to his patrons. When he finally had enough he brought out a deer leg and butchered it in his front window right in front of the protesters. Well, the howls. How dare he (the restaurant owner) provoke them (the vegan warriors) despite them being there screwing around with his business every day. The part that got me, and this relates to the same loons going on about gun control, is that they claim all they want is a discussion. Ya, right, so long as that 'discussion' is them getting things to go 100% their was. No guns. No hunting. We all sit around in sandals eating lentils.
 
If I visit TO, I’ll be sure to look them up.

I’ve been told by TO people that we should stop hunting and give the “animals a chance” by “just buying packaged meat from supermarkets”.
 
I'm local and am definitely going to go. Actually was on my radar before this nonsense. Looks like a cool place. Most torontonuans I know view hunting as interesting and even progressive - a way to eat healthy that's ethical and outdoorsy. Which is good news.

The fact that these left wing lunatics are even down there harassing both the owner and the patron just indicates how misinformed and misaligned their thought process is.
Why there ? What's their point ? Why wouldn't these brain dead hippies protest any restaurant that serves any type of meat, it's all the same.

They have clearly singled him out and began a campaign of harassment and ostracising one person repeatedly based on their personal opinion and anger. They stand out front and watch with the intent to intimidate the owner.
That is clearly Criminal Harassment.
These people should be removed from the front of the premises by the police, warned once then arrested.
 
I understand that the restaurant does not serve wild game, though? But rather, farmed game. Which (unfortunately) raises a host of other ethical and health related concerns.

I believe it is in most every province and territory in Canada, except here in Newfoundland & Labrador (and then only with a permit). Not quite what I was driving at, though.

The best part is I have 2 friends that have never known about it till this and now have reservations. they told me they are booked up for a month now.

This whole actually turned into free publicity for the owner
