Ar-15 barrels

You might end up having to have one built for you, 18.6+ inch with carbine gas system is not going to be easy to find.
Another option would be to buy a standard barrel and use the RWA gas system. Cost more but prob not as much as a custom built barrel.
Shoot your rifle first before deciding it needs a new barrel. If you're not shooting handloads or premium ammo a match barrel isn't going to do much more for you than the factory barrel will give you. These are not target rifles so expensive barrels won't magically turn them into sub moa laser guns.

The WK 180 is midlength gas, not carbine gas.
They decided not to proceed with the proposed mid length gas system. Production model is confirmed to be carbine length. See quote below:
Kinda sucks as I have the perfect barrel to put on my WK180-C if they went mid length.
Non-restricted length "off the shelf" barrels with a carbine length gas system are currently non-existent. If you want to swap barrels it's looking like a custom job, at least for the foreseeable future.

We will be selling all of our parts individually and should be on the market by mid summer,after our first run of uppers are complete. As for weather or not our gas system will fit the WK180c is really unknown at this point. It will depend on the design of their upper and what size op rod they are using. If they are using a standard AR-15 barrel nut and a AR-15 gas piston set up, then we would lean towards it not being compatible with our gas system.
We will know the answer for sure in May with the release of their rifle.

I would wait for the rifles to be released and in customers hands before planning "upgrades" there really isn't enough information available yet to know exactly what will be compatible or not. We don't even really know how the production guns will shoot yet so upgrades may not even be needed.
These are not AR-15's so don't expect to be able to play LEGO with them.
Buy your favorite grips and stocks but I would forget about trying to turn them into target rifles, my original 180B is decently accurate (think Tavor or XCR accuracy) and it just has the factory pencil barrel. My interest in barrel swaps is to install my non restricted 300 Blackout barrel not to create a semi auto precision rifle.
My advice is to enjoy it the way it comes for the most part. Nothing you do to it will make it shoot like a Modern Varmint, there is a lot more involved in accuracy than just swapping in an expensive barrel. I think that if you're buying one of these dreaming of turning it into a budget precision semi auto you will be disappointed and end up doubling the cost of the rifle and never seeing a sub moa group. That doesn't mean there is something wrong with them or that they're not a good rifle, just have realistic expectations for a $1000 semi auto, which is dirt cheap by the way and if I didn't already own an AR180B-2 I'd be buying one of these or the RWA rifle.

^^^^ I have no expectations. With expectations comes disappointments.
A big part of my enjoyment is simply seeing what I can change, modify or upgrade to make it my own. If I can find a way that's part of the fun of owning it.

I feel the same way, just saying that people shouldn't get ahead of themselves and start ordering parts before even shooting the rifle. Don't want another BCL102 ordeal where guys bought a bunch of parts ahead of time just to find out many of them don't fit.
A person doesn't know what needs to be improved or customized until they actually handle and shoot it. For all we know these barrels will give 2 moa with nothing more than some premium ammo so all that's left would be a different stock and grip to make it fit you better or look more the way you want. It's already been stated that they don't use an AR-15 barrel nut so swapping forends will not be an option other than what is offered by the manufacturer.
If these are a direct copy of the AR180B lower (but made from 6061) I can tell you that any two pin AR-15 trigger should work, I don't know about the cartridge type triggers but I just put an ALG ACT into my 180 and it works perfectly. You just need to use the longer 180 pins.
If a person expects to see 1 moa or better then I'd say don't buy this rifle or the RWA, I expect 2-3 moa depending on ammo (worse with bulk or cheap FMJ) and with a premium barrel and the right ammo maybe 1.5-2 moa but that's not going to be easy to do, any better than that will probably be a one-off fluke group.
Time will tell, I'm looking forward to seeing these hit the market
