I along with a few others was looking for a retro ar180. Guess that will not be happening here unfortunately. Another issue on recent release of new guns is this bull#### presale where we all bear the burden on what might arrive? How did this start?I don't post here at all as you can see but I like many am a very long term firearms buyer (40 years). How this give me your money up front stuff ever manifested ever started is puzzling! I am sure I am not the only one who feels that way? The Type 81 is a recent example as a severe cluster fuk. Cheers
I see everyone has stopped talking about dust covers.
Don't need them. Plenty of rifles run just fine without them.
The 180 doesn't need to be run wet like an AR and the tolerances are loose enough that any sand or grit just falls out the bottom.
Just my opinion though, YMMV
I got excited when I read Irunguns was working on a 180 project. My hope was it would be competitive price wise with wolverine so I waited it out... What a mistake.
$995 VS $2199.36. Gee, let me think about that for a millisecond... WK180C for me.

Yup. So far that's what we know for sure. 2 WKs for price of one IRG
WK180-C for me for a lot of obvious reasons, not to mention being a student again has me on a tight budget for such things. I am really looking forward to getting mine in a few weeks.
HK sells brand, so does Colt. Same idea as Prada or Versace jeans. There will be always snobs who will claim magic powers for the overpriced item. Anyway, with most AR under $1K or almost all under $1.5k, I hardly see anything super innovative to justify $2k. Even Macabee with $1000 receiver set and stainless steel parts that I bought for it (223 wylde), I will have a less expensive rifle.
HK and Colt are only better than Norinco due to brand power thus why they cost more.............
Check. Uh huh.
Lol, Uh huh.
Pretty much the only difference is the name on the side![]()
