After many years of waiting out for my "perfect" SAA's that I've been looking for, my dream collection is finally complete! It all started with a 2nd gen, BNIB when the bug bit me for my love of SAA's. Then my wife bought me a 3rd gen for my 30th birthday (best birthday gift ever!!!). And finally after many years of searching, I managed to snag a 1st gen Cavalry SAA. I have to say, to have all three together is such an incredible sight, the history is just amazing! I'm very excited and thought I'd share a photo of the collection. Enjoy! :)

Nice guns,
I’ve had a few .45 SAAs,mostly clones, and one real one.

Im planning on buying one more, a 5 1/2 antique, just wish I could get it chambered in .45 LC

Nothing compares to the real deal:)

I have new 2nd generation colt 357 7.5" SAA, matched pair 5.5 SAA
Colt Custom shop and matched pair 7.5" SAA Colt Custom Shop .
Don't know the year I got them all,

Great looking bunch. I have a antique status colt SAA as well and it’s a fine piece. It a joy to shoot and it one gun that I will never part with.
Congrats

OP more info about the 1st Gen model please!!

Such as year of manufacture, any inspector cartouches, that sort of thing.

It looks about old enough to have served with the US Army in the late 1800's.

I've started to collect info on it and so far know that it was manufactured in 1877 and inspected by John T Cleveland. It was sold to the US Government, so I can only imagine the history/stories of the gun!
