support for eddie Maurice's self defense case Please read...

Yeah I put my donation in but only because I heard about it here. The CBC has a coast to coast audience but would NEVER tell us that there was some legal defense fund for an evil murdering gun owner.

The Stanley/Boushie incident got national media attention because the Leftist MSM wanted to play up the 'racism' angle. The MSM is also aware that the attention that they gave that story also helped to raise a ton of GoFundMe cash for Gerald Stanley's defense. I'm thinking that the CBC doesn't want to contribute to something like that happening again...

As a person WELL versed in the law and Section 26 of the Criminal Code: What should be implied when two junkies are breaking into your home? Will they abide by some " Thief code of Conduct" and abandon their compromised mission or kill you for being a witness? Maybe take a turns with your wife? Worse has happened in my province in the past few years.

What happened to the senior Brian Warman in Alix Alberta last November is our wake-up call. This is the reality we are now dealing with. The government isn't going to protect us nor is the government going to legally permit us to adequately protect ourselves. How many more incidents like the machete attack in Alix do we need for this reality to sink in???

That is shocking stuff.
If this were happening in Vancouver there would be a very well publicized uproar. Even the idiot AG of BC, David Eby, would be holding emergency meetings...

The Thompson case cost the defendant more than $100,000.

With Eddie back in court tomorrow we'll just have to wait and see if the media picks up on it or not. Maybe it's just wishful thinking but I'm really hoping that this FundRazr campaign eventually gets into high gear. If only just Alberta gun owners gave just a few bucks each the campaign would be a huge success. It's rural gun, home and property owners from Alberta and Saskatchewan that I'm really counting on here. We know what's really going on with rural crime. Things are so messed up that it's surreal. I can't even really blame anyone from outside of the Prairie Provinces for not believing us when we tell them how bad things actually are...

I don't know what to make of this news today. It sounds like there are some sort of technicalities with the Crown causing a delay. On a positive note, the Calgary Sun has mentioned the 'FundRazr' campaign and gave the link. Maurice's lawyer (Tonii Roulston) seems to be pushing to have the "charges dropped"...

"Rural Crime: Lawyer for rancher charged with firearms offences frustrated by Crown delays"

http://calgarysun.com/news/crime/rancher-returns-to-court-on-firearm-charges

(I'm not sure though that I like the Calgary Sun referring to the thieves as "trespassers". The "trespassers" were there stealing from the family. Is the simple self-evident truth now politically incorrect also?)

http://www.westernwheel.com/article/Maurice-case-held-over-for-third-time-20180420

"The judge in my opinion here today should have just said, ‘You guys have had three chances to present the full disclosure, you’ve failed every time, I’m dismissing the charges,’” said Clark. “Next time around, that’s exactly what should happen on May 4.”

Apparently if the Crown doesn't have it's act together by the 04th of May the charges could be dropped...

The crown is probably worried that they don't have enough evidence to result in a conviction, so they are trying to delay because they are afraid of another precedence setting ruling in the courts.....

fingers crossed for the Maurice family.....

Honestly this makes my f^&*£&@ blood boil. Notorious gangster gets off with actual murder AGAIN on a legal technicality because it took too long. What are they really focusing on and dragging out instead? Why of course, they are persecuting a young upstanding family man for daring to stand up in the face of multiple assailants. Yeah awesome let's make him and his family suffer with the emotional and financial strain of a drawn out bunch of legal bull ####. Mother fvcking FVCK!

yep, it definitely bullscat that criminals get free top notch lawyers on the taxpayers dime, and a young law abiding family man ...who has to pay for his own legal fees...gets dragged out to try to drain him financially....obviously they feel they cant win, so if they can't punish him with prison time...they will try and punish him financially...

let's keep this fundraising going...for each and every case like this out there....its our only way to fight for our natural human right of self defence....we must all come together as a community to support cases like this.....because the end result if we prevail .....will be a win for all of us

Yes exactly! I see this crowd funding thing becoming the way of the future. Let the filthy degenerate politicians in government continue to support the criminals. As decent citizens and victims, we'll just start looking ourselves and each other...

If the whole jury is from Okotoks, Maurice will be acquitted and the Crown prosecutor will be sent to prison... :D

well, when I was a kid growing up in the rural okotoks area, there was a case of a kidnapping and murder of a girl named Laurie Boyd....I remember the RC's were panicking to bring in reinforcements from the surrounding area.....because locals were blocking roads and fanning out to try and find her or the culprit. I saw a pickup truck going down main street with guys in the back with hunting rifles. It always made me proud to think back and see how the community banded together so quickly. Now back then this was the first time something bad like this had happened, and the family was close to the community...

They ended finding her south of Okotoks, near High river....god bless her soul.... Eventually the guy caught, was the creepy guy who lived at the DeWinton dump..

Having said all that, if there is even a tiny shred of that community left today ....I'm sure the jury will be a good thing
