Just going by the pictures and not actually physically holding one of these yet I could easily tell that it was going to be a bit heavier than a "run of the mill" AR15 receiver as there is a lot more material on the SLR receiver. The weight comes as no surprise to me. I honestly thought it may have been a bit more than 625g
 
The receivers are estimated to begin shipping in March 2018. If there are delays (unlikely) it may be as late as June (worst-case scenario). Our prediction is March or April. You will receive frequent email updates with the most up-to-date delivery schedule

people get a different date estimate May/June/July depending on where you are in the queue.

nope we aren't expecting the first ones until mid May.

The grind is going amazing. We have had a few hiccups with the machine but we’re happy to report we’ve gotten it fixed in house twice with no loss of time or tolerance.

Really excited that the rifles functioning well. Considering how much we have changed to make it run better.

We have already planned tooling and work holding for the second machine which is here in six weeks for much needed back up. We are in the final stages of op 2 on the lowers. We should be on final operation in two weeks time and same with the uppers. Trigger boxes are done and aniodized.

Maccabee advised us of another few weeks delay. Seems like the delays are getting shorter as we get closer to the finish. I'd guess will converge with the first ones arriving late June.

So it's pretty obvious now that they're just stringing us along a "few weeks" at a time, to prevent people from jumping ship. They obviously knew in March that mid April was completely un-attainable, and the same thing in April, that mid May was BS. Really wish they would give us an accurate timeline. But I guess that would be bad for business, what people cancelling their pre-orders and all.

Guess I'll dust off the M&P, and get it ready to run the whole season, looks like that's a lot more likely than MDI ever getting their #### together.

Edit: Again, I appreciate the updates, TNA. I know this is well beyond your control. You guys have been great, as usual.
 
I am starting to wish I didn't already order and receive all the parts for my SLR. In too deep on cost to back out now but this is just silly now.
