I use one every day. And it goes through airport security, no beep!
5.11 Tactical Series 1.75"
Most of the previous suggestions are not acceptable for IDPA.
I wasn't aware IDPA said anything about belts. What do the rules require?
Mark
8.4 Belts
Belts may be no wider than 1 Âľ inches or thicker than 5/16 inches and must pass through a minimum of all but two of the pant loops.
That's it....
This is what I have as well, works fine for me.

The double belts used in IPSc are not legal for IDPA. You can of course only use the inner belt.
I asked an IDPA guy about that exact thing - using ONLY the inner velcro belt, and was told - NO. It must look like a regular 'street' belt. Buckle, etc. So, who is right?
The rule book is right. There is nothing in the 2017 RB to require a buckle or look like a "street" belt whatever that is. All you have to do is read the words that are there and not add any as you read the rule. To many don't read the RB and when they do they add words that are not there. The IDPA rule book is the last document I would hold up as an example of concise writing but rule 8.4 is pretty clear. The IDPA guy can contact me or the new POC down in PA for clarification.
If you are never going to shoot IPSC and only intend to shoot IDPA the double belt sold by a couple of suppliers is a waste of money. The only advantage other than it goes with some folks dress code is you can slip off the outer belt that holds your holster and mags holders. Outside of that, a well made leather belt or the wilderness Belt made by several companies works just as well.

the biggest advantage of the double belt system is not having to feed the belt thru the loops than add your pouches. Also your not limited to spacing between your belt loops. Lets you be set up properly from the get go everytime.
I shoot IPSC more than IDPA, so I already have the double belt. The rule book is right. There is nothing in the 2017 RB to require a buckle or look like a "street" belt whatever that is.
