This ammo is for other nagant M1895 aka Mosin revolver. lol
We don't have any surplus in this caliber. You guys down south have Russian surplus from 70s. No other country except Russia used this caliber so Romanian doesn't exist.
Here we have PPU or Fiocchi.
Both shoot about the same as they both use 98gr bullet. Reloading is the way to go if hotter loading is desired.

Many small and big European companies were making this ammo before WW2. First and then biggest manufacturers were - Belgium, Italy and Poland.

Before war Polish SEPEWE sindicate sold a lot of arms to whoever wanted them,that included Romania (one of closest allies at the time).Chances are they did sell Nagant revolver ammo to Romania either in Romanian marked boxes or in bulk packaged later in Romania.
Polish made arms and ammo was sold to Spain,China,S.America,Romania and few other places.Some machinery for making ammo was sold to China but never made it to destination.
That kind of reminds me of situation today.Funny how history repeats itself (again).

Hotshot seems to be CenturyArms brand and they used it on Serbian (PPU) and Romanian and on whatever they could source ammo. Can you make a pic of box?

There are certain type of refurbished M1895 revolvers with models ranging from ww1 to ww2 and I suspect Romania by the number of factors but haven't got any solid evidences yet. Thanks for this information, very helpful in my research.
