C-71 & Wolverine Supplies

I am sorry to say that I disagree with you. At least every firearms dealer in Canada should have submitted a written Brief to the Committee (There is still time) and all the major dealers should be attending in person. Every PAL holder should have contacted their MP but sadly the "Canadian way" is to wait until it is to late. All I can do is try and lead by example, this is very serious.

I suspect that a lot of the small shops do not even know how to go about producing such a brief. Perhaps, (and I'm going out on a limb here) it may be a good idea to contact some of them and let them know how, show them a sample of your brief etc. Let them leverage some of your work to benefit everyone in the end.
Yes, I know reaching out to your own competitors is a touchy subject, but in a way we are all in this together when it comes to this particular issue.

The graphs dont show numerical values but what percentage is licensed gun crime representing? .01%? Less maybe?

That graph alone should shame the Liberals into withdrawing this asinine bill. But it wont. LIEberals are about control not safety.

Remember people these are the same prople welcoming ISIS fighters back to Canada.

I noticed that wolverine will be one if the last presenters (and after the anti-gun presentations). I am glad they saved the best for last. Give them a respectable but strong and determined message from all of us. Tell them that gun owners are more concerned and knowegable about gun violence and gun safety than any other segment of society. We should be "at the table" during the crafting of any legislation to avoid things like C-71.

There is an old saying "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink."

Wolverine is leading by example, anyone can write a Brief and submit to the Standing Committee, this includes private citizens, not only firearm dealers. The Brief can be as simple as a hand written note expressing your concerns. I don't view other gun dealers as competitors when it comes to stopping more firearm controls due to a restrictive Bill like C-71 that does nothing to enhance public safety.

I agree there are many small dealers that probable are unaware of C -71 and if they are aware of they may not realize the significance of it. We, Wolverine, can not reach out to these, we simple do not have the resources to do so, but I would suggest that anyone reading this has an excuse to visit all their local gun stores and educate them as required. After all how much effort is it to go on a local gun shop tour?

Awesome, I can't think of anyone better to speak on our behalf!

Will this be broadcasted on CPAC? Or will there be public meeting minutes available?

I wish you good luck. With our current government I have a feeling you'll be coming home with a sore head but thanks for trying and seriously good luck

I am off to Ottawa tomorrow where I will join Matt and then on the 31st May we present our Brief to the "House of Commons Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security" where we express our our concern over the future RCMP classification of YOUR FIREARMS.

WHAT OUR YOU DOING? Still time for action!

Be prepared for Peter Fragiskatos or however he spells his last name.
Too bad someone didn't have a silhouette picture of the weapons the storm troopers used in Star Wars. Conversation might go like....This is an assault rifle would you want this banned...yes...why...blah blah. You do realize this is a laser rifle from Star Wars! Point being you want it banned because it looks bad.
