I only ask because that's what I did and they did include them with my mags.

I'm sure they'll get you sorted.

I didn't want to complicate things by asking and possibly delay getting my owed mags.

for $1000 a bent rifle is under no circumstances acceptable, for an extra $300 one can buy a Cz858, although hideous a better rifle in every aspect. If mine shows up bent I will be pissed.

Their aren’t but their are vids if you search for them on modifying standard ak mags to work in the type 81 but as all modifications they aren’t as good as the original

Unless you have a whole bunch of AK mags laying around I wouldn't bother. Yes you can modify AK mags to fit but you won't have the bolt hold open feature which IMO is pretty nice to have.
