The Stag 10s NR stripped receiver set thread

How hard is it to build an AR-10 compared to an AR-15?

I know the parts are more expensive, but putting it together will be harder? I'm familiar with building AR-15's have build a few over the years but never an AR-10.

This Stag set is very tempting.
 
Opinions on handguards? I've narrowed it down to

A. SLR Rifleworks ultra light 15" M-lok

B. Midwest Industries 15" M-lok

C. ---------------------

these have a 289 MSRP in the US, Kind of makes me wanna throw up seeing how much I paid for my BCL set... lol...

Is there a basic tutorial to putting these together ? Ive put together m1a’s but know zero bout these ... a rifle in 6.5 is too much for me to resist
However i dont want to go over my head if it takes alot of machine work

$695 includes upper and lower receiver parts kit and pistol grip. Not a big deal but it's something.

Oh and the funny thing is when I placed my order as soon as they listed them the price I paid was $629 lol

I guess the sudden interest caused the price to spike. Or they just caught their "mistake"

Oh well, still a better deal than the BCL. At least I know Stag has a QC department
 
The actual version that Arms East is offering isn't the bare bones and is $409.99US version which includes the pre-installed LPK and forward assist. But if you were going to change everything I could see why you would consider trying to import the $289 version.

I'm more than happy with what Arms is offering and will just customize the remainder of the build.

Haha I didn't notice that until I read your comment. I snuck in on the $629 price also :)
