Unless you count the SKS I have in a tacticool stock this might be my first black rifle after I put a little more cash aside. Do any other married dudes out there take out a little extra cash back at the grocery store without telling the better half like I do to build up the man fund? hehehe

I don't know enough to make suggestions on barrel type etc. just make one I can kill moose, elk and deer with and I will happily carry it around in the woods and retire my '06 bolt action.

Will 308 upper and or stripped upper be available down the line?

I would also be interested in a lightweight 18.6 308 barrel. I call in my order today for a 6.5 22 inch. The weight of that barrel make sence to me for the application but in a 308 lightweight should be the goal, at least for one model! 7-8 pounds max.

One question, will a magpull Bad lever work on these?

Both 308 barreled uppers and stripped uppers will be available.

BAD lever, I'm not sure yet. I love Magpul, but the BAD lever frightens me. 99.9% of the time we get a call about a rifle not holding back correctly, various brands of rifles, it turns out a BAD lever is in play. If they work go for it, but I gotta say i'm in the 'not sold' camp on them. I'll wait for your report! ;)

Can’t add weight without upgrading the spring lol, I use the Phase5 now as it can’t potentially fall apart. The AR10 version should fit, DPMS specs for bolt catch right?

I know your asking what we want for a option from Stag but I’m going to throw this out there for the guys(me) who bought the stripped receiver sets.

I think the Faxon gunner profile would be perfect or maybe even the pencil profile and I seem to remember they will do custom lengths for a batch of 100. The also respond quick to inquires. Might be worth looking into.

ETA: I’m thinking 18.6” here

Any chances of a retro furniture kit similar to the stag 15 retro offering being available/compatible for the stag 10?

I know they won't be there out of the gate. But they should be compatible. We are talking potential configs and offerings right now. I'll put it out there to Stag.

The Brownells BRN-10 has the Faxon 20" pencil barrel. I want to build something like that except with a flat top, FSB and I want to use conventional hand guards.
