Range time with the 180-C

Thanks very much for the grouping pics !

Yes, and wow! Thats pretty impressive with that cheap ammo, shooting off an improvised bench with a 5X scope.

I'm going to try mine off a good benchrest with a high power scope and quality handloads trying a few types of target bullets. Should be great!

so, I'm wondering, how such pre-orders with such a long ETA works wrt. credit cards, especially as the CC might expire between the pre-order and actual delivery ?

Bingo. We never charge anything to anyone accounts/cards ect. without first contacting the customer for conformation.

Yup the big old university degree lie that many of us live. Ironically I am now in college for a job that will pay more and have reliable work that is in high demand.

My field is in high demand, it's just hard to get your foot in the door if you don't do co-op during school, which I couldn't do due to family reasons. Doesn't matter, I'll get a job eventually (interview Monday!) and when I do, then I get to buy toys...

Nice! Good luck!

Couple more question from reading your other thread. You mentioned a 7.62x39mm version and a .308 "utility" rifle. Would there come into the form of upper receiver or full rifles ?

edit: same question about 22lr and 9mm. This gun might be the one and only :) 22lr for rabbit, 9mm for plinking, 223 for coyote and .308 (single shot) for bears !

No plans to sell 7.62 x 39 top halves at this time but we can't make a firm decision until we know the costs. I am not sure a .22 conversion kit would be a viable project. I would like to see a 9 mm conversion kits but they are a long way off. The WK Utility rifle in .308 is a totally different animal to the WK180-C.

This is awesome, thanks for sharing these recent videos. I've shared with a friend, he was so impressed that he decided to put down a deposit on one (and of course is totally okay with waiting a while for it!).

Hmm. It would be nice to have a 5.56 and something with a little more punch for hunting by simply buying an upper conversion.

I was about to ask that too. I'd not be sticking 100% with single shot .308 upper, but a 30 cal bullet option would be great. If the upper use standard AR-15 barrel (especially wrt. the gas port location?), perhaps 300 Blackout would be the way to go. Case can be formed from 5.56, no BCG change, similar ballistic as 7.62x39mm, use standard 308 bullets and can use the standard STANAG mags... 7.62x39mm would require different mags for that purpose.

If I have an ar15 barrel that take rifle length gas block that I want to put on my Wk180c, will I need to but specific gas piston parts?

308 needs a bigger receiver than 223/556. 6.5 Grendel would fit a 223 action though, and would be my choice for a hunting round given the action size restrictions, but you'd need a 7.62x39 bolt for that I do believe?

Why does everyone think I am talking about .308? Lol. 7.62x39, 6.5 Grendel, 6x45mm, 6.5x45mm etc would make good hunting cartridges.

7.62x39mm is a pain to fit in AR style rifle, Colt had a lot of pain originally due to the case angle.
