Who’s got the best deal on labradar right now?

Before going to sleep tonight i will finally order my labradar.
750$ seems to be the popular price right now (just checked 4 retailers).
Any deals going around i should be aware of?

500$ USD
Now has been raised to 560$ USD

Ended up ordering at Calgary shooting centre.
Labradar same price as elsewhere, but accessories we're cheaper.

There was a sale about a month ago but it seems back to regular price now. $750CAD

Hirsch Precision is the main Distributor in Canada

FWIW buy all your accessories on amazon and other local shops.

I got a 20,000 mAh rechargeable battery on amazon for a few bucks more than Labradar sells a 10,000 mAh unit for.
https://www.amazon.ca/AUKEY-20000mA...32496440&sr=1-2&keywords=20000+mah+power+bank

Bought a piece of 1/8 aluminum plate at a welding shop for $10 and a $22 camera mount on amazon (connects, rotates and tilts exactly like the Labradar bench mount).
https://www.amazon.ca/Neewer-Profes...id=1532496380&sr=8-9&keywords=tripod+ballhead

Bought a close out laptop bag at Best Buy for $30.
Staples or other shop for an SD card - on sale for $8

I got all my stuff at the same place, for the commodity.
Didn’t get the carry bag, as i’d prefer a foam lined CDN tire tool case.
Got the mini tripod instead on the plate, my friend has the plate and it works great, and wanted to try the tripod for a change.
I am hoping it can double to seat an angled spotting scope from the prone position.

Didn’t get an SD card though.
As i am writting down my chrono data on a sheet to have ammo and exterior temperature match to go with it.
There is also a labradar app out now too.
We’ll see if the need for an SD card will come, i’ll buy that one at staples if ever.

I recently ordered one from Midway USA. $509 US was their sale price. Also picked up the Labradar case for $40 US.

Ordrered 10,000mha external battery for $29 US and the 16gig Memory Card for $9 US, both off of Amazon.

I was very tempted to buy the tripod or ball mount but decided to first try using my bog-pod tripod I have.

I haven't picked up my order from the Post Office yet. Going to do that this weekend.

I wasn't aware they shipped to Canada. Have they changed their policies?

The SD card is very nice to have - all the data can then be imported into a spreadsheet. It is saved as CSV files.

The app works great. Easy to start and stop the unit from your phone as well as see the data.

Not according to their website just now:

International Orders

Due to the variety of regulations controlling shipments outside the U.S., MidwayUSA is unable to process international orders.

Yeah 750$ seems to be the fixed price
Where you will see larger differences is on accessories.
Just bought a home depot husky bag for my lab radar.

It looks like a laptop soft case, but more padded.
Should fit the bill just right.

If you are doing a lot of sitting bench mount is a must. Buy the battery off the amazon.ca

That is the one my friend got.
It’s very good (the benchmount plate)

Decided to try labradar mini tripod for versatility (kestrel wind direction reading, spotting scope when prone...)
At worst if i don’t like it for labradar I’ll get bench plate and recycle tripod.

That's rich because they are a Canadian company (Quebec).

I was looking at one when they first announced them for about $500 Cdn, I was on their mailing list, next thing I see they are $550 USD. I refuse to buy one because of that.

You were able to order from their web site in Canada.

I working a major match last year and the chronographer had 3 of them set up. All 3 crapped the first day, a know problem to the company.

The post I made was ref Midway USA not shipping to Canada.

I am aware Labradar is made in QC. It is available at multiple Canadian Dealers and the Canadian Distributor is Hirsch.

My experience with the unit has been good, so has the other two locals I know that have them.

I sure hope mine doesn’t crap out quicker than expected!
Last ipsc lvl lll match i shot in Ontario they we’re using it without complaints,
My good buddy has one too, over a year now and him too has no complaints.

If i would of knew they we’re fragile i wouldn’t of chronographed my new 44 magnum with it!

Love my LabRadar. It’s a game changer and next couple of levels in terms of convenience and lesss fzcking around in setup and operation and display and reading and data storage and variable manipulation and everything else that drove me crazy about my previous technology Chronographs.

No doubt you are paying more but just quit smoking and the unit or upgrade in technology is paid for, and you will be healthier!

Cheers, Barney.

Return rate is less than 1% through many units and there are no customers that have not been sorted out fully. In use by military, ammo manufacturers and many top shooters with close to 100% satisfaction.

Best regards,

Peter
