ATRS Modern Sporter - Nov 30th : New video, Post 482

Glad I got in on the ATRS MS when I did... lots of SLR people jumping ship now with the latest and greatest change of anodizing to cerakoting finish.

I see big a flood of $$ in ATRS’s very near future

Not necessary as we've changed the orientation of the tapered pin system in the Modern Varmint, basically picture in your mind a 'fixed in place' rear takedown pin that doesn't move and has a little different location. Or come by the shop and check one out and no need to imagine anything.

I'm a little far to swing by. Can you post a photo?

UPDATE: August - 3 - 2018

Receivers are moving nicely through op 3 (machining out the fire control group area) and the first ones are moving on to op 4 (cutting out the magwell). After op 4 it's on to tumble and bead blast, then anodizing.

Ok so after some issues with another companies reciever, I'm looking at these. I have to say they do look amazing. What's the projected timeline if someone where to say count me in today?

Our goal is to have lowers shipping out mid-September. Uppers going out the door by the end of the year. We still have room in the first production run, for now.

Those look great! Sure hoping these get a NR classification!

Nothing else would make any sense when you consider the lineage and receiver formatting.

Are you guys started on the uppers yet?

Not yet, hoping to get machines running on uppers in a week or two, as they become available from the production of lower receivers.
