The only one I have that may qualify is a #1 in 45-70, and not because they are rare but the story behind this particular one.
Original Stag Grips are certainly rare.
Early Flatops and Flatgates probably rate as rare in Canada, uncommon in the US.
A picture of the Flattop with the Stag grips would be a delight.

That's an item that interests me. To fill that calibre void in my gun safe I picked up an 'inexpensive' full wood stocked Zastava. DEFINITELY no complaints on how it shoots but it does lack a decent degree of 'polish'. I guess the Ruger, in that calibre, didn't or doesn't come in a full wood stock model?? Hoytcanon/Greg, do you know???
