I would like to see a non takedown model 12 winchester

I believe he is asking because every time a model 12 comes up for sale, the listing will say it's a model 12 take down model. All model 12's were take down so he would like to see a pic of a model 12 that is not a take down model if it exists..

Hahah...do they “slam fire”? Is that fun?

You guys are cracking me up!! Laugh2Laugh2

I have a M25 its has all the same functions as a M12 except take down

Seriously, did my EE ad push you over the edge? I used the term take-down as many younger folks don't realize what it is. You old guys have nothing better to do somedays.....

Do you think you’re the only one to post a model 12 take down model and inspire a humorous thread about it? It’s been years of them. It just starts to get old so you have to try to laugh about it when you see the ads. Or at least that’s how this OLD GUY handles it!

Here you go!
OP, Im sure you have seen this picture in your other "show me a non takedown m12 thread."

Technically it could be argued the featherweight still could be taken down, just not in the same way as the original design. So yes it could be argued I suppose not all are take downs given the featherweight wears the model 12 name but personally I feel all Winchester did was redesign a pump gun and lend it the model 12 name to capitalize on sales based on the model 12’s reputation. Just like adding two zeros and capitalizing on the model 12 name to lend creed to acceptance of the model 1200. Just my thoughts and opinions. The featherweight wears so many design changes including a different styled receiver that to me is not a true model 12. Maybe I’m a harsh critic but I don’t even consider the Japanese reproductions “true” model 12’s since they have a safety interruptor that prevents their being slamfired and to date I own one reproduction and have owned 5 others in the past.
