3 gun shotgun?

BNLI-RPS02 for hammer, BNLI-RPS03 for trigger.

I did not buy direct as Taran doesn't ship outside of the USA, had them imported. Reliable has them in stock as part of the Benelli ultimate power pack, but contains a m2 spring not usable by the m3k. Also contains extra c-clips which are handy.

Tactical Ordnance should have them too, toss him an e-mail.

I bought an MK3 as well. Put a couple hundred light target loads and ate them all up.

The trigger is terrible, thought the safety was on!

Great gun out of the box.

Have you checked your extractor for any gouging? I had huge burrs on the bolt, smoothes it out. But there was already huge chunks Missing.

My three guns are done lol

That is to bad that spring is not usable! I price it out on another site and just the other two springs almost came to the same price as the kit at reliable.

The kit is usable, it just contains 1 extra spring that the m2 uses that the m3k does not. So that extra spring will end up in the garbage or as decoration somewhere.

It has the trigger spring, hammer spring, extra c-clips and then the stock spring (unusable, due to the difference in benellis system).

We installed the kit in my buddies benelli and I saw how it wouldn't fit the MK3. I can't see how anyone could say they are similar guns? Not even close, share the same trigger group and some other parts at the most.

Having said that I am really happy with the MK3! Out of the box, S&J +3 kit, local printed match saver this gun is awesome.

I think I'm in for under $900.

Decided to open my loading port some, also disassembled the bolt and extractor. The extractor is extremely chewed up, turned out the bolt had a huge Burr left in the extractor pocket.

Luckily I had a small end mill and was able to take of the Burr using a hand drill.

Started to open the loading port with my Dremel, but it started to smoke. Ended up switching to needle files. Took roughly 2 hours.

I also polished the magazine tube, 220 to 400 grit sandpaper. I've got a Benelli extractor and spring enroute along with a moa precision lower power recoil spring and heavy bolt-carrier system. Should be able to run 23/4 dram 1oz loads all day long now!!

Okay, well the extraction issues are settled. However another issue has risen...

Like every tube of shells the lifter sticks and this happens.

Edit: 50 11/8 oz slug's at 1500fps later will eat bird shot no issues

I have to push the lifter up doe the shell to feed.

I had a similar issue with a different shotgun, would not chamber the very last shell, it just sat on the carrier. It took 1 3" magnum slug to "fix it/break it in" and it never did it again, lol.

Is this the Stoeger M3k thread? :) I just bought one that's in the mail. First thing I am planning to do is deburr the extractor slot. I should be able to get 6 x 2-3/4" into legally sized extention, yes? Any pics with the SJ hardware extentions installed? I'm tempted to go with the +2 or +3 for the looks.

I grabbed a Nordic Components +2 kit, stoeger nut and low drag follower from Tactical Ordnance (via e-mail) for a good price, have heard people having issues with the SJ kit. With a +2 I needed a plug to stop the 6th 3" shell, a +1 probably does not need modification but I am not sure. With the +2 the barrel is ~6 longer than the extension.

I can jam 7 into mine...but I am pushing the outer limits of 5 x 3" shells...less than about 1/4" of the 6th shell protrudes...6 shells is easy...I use a +3 for looks...

I've only ever seen people get 6 into a legal extension for a 3" chamber...

So you can't fit 6, 3" shells but you can fit 7, 2 3/4"? They must be really short 2 3/4" shells

Can do it consistently with Winchester Super Target shells and occasionally with Federal Top Gun shells. You have to force the 7th one in, but it goes and it cycles. And you cannot jam the 6th 3" shell in (I use Winchester Long Beard XR Turkey for my 3" shell standard but I have also tested against several other brands and load type 3" shells...all good). It sticks out a hair...

The Winchester and Federal average roughly the same length on my caliper (2.27 - 2.28") but the Winchesters feel softer on the crimp so there appears to be more flexibility. Score and Remington wouldn't go.
Was a trick I was shown by one of my squad mates at Prairie Fire last year.

+1 is all you need.

I've looked at my plugged tube on the extension nut. there's only about 1/2" in the extension, rest is plugged up.

Okay, going with the Nordic extension from TacOrd. Do you guys use the Nordic follower as well? There was a review/comment on the product page of the Nordic website from a guy saying it jammed when loading from the ejection port. Gun wasn't specified.

I wonder if there is any difference in the resistance against the follower when loading to capacity in a plugged longer extention (ie +3) vs a +1? Since you wouldn't be compressing the coils completely would it be easier to load?
