Howdy I am looking forsome winchester 94 experts. I recently aquired my first win 94 in 32 win special from 1947
only downside is somone cut the mag tube down to look more like a model 64.. Anyways when this was done it was improperly done and the tube mag is touching the barrel and the gun seems to shoot very high and i suspect this is cause ? At 25 yards rested the gun shoots 12" high roughly... I tried removing the screw at the end to put a spring or washer in but it seems even when removed that the barrel band that was installed was done too tight I cant even remove the screw and dont want to damage it. My biggest concern is the consistantcy, Will this shoot in the same spot if i learn where it shoots or will it be random ? My second question... Is it possible to restore the mag tube to original length ? I am unsure if they can be removed and swapped. Thank you all for reading and your time
