Striker fired choices

M&P2.0 is exceptional value, in my opinion.

I particularly like the aggressively stippled grip with multiple size backstraps.

Depending on what you're looking for, I'd suggest seeing how it feels for you. Can often be had new for $500-$550. Hard to beat.

Strait up when da glizzy pop dem n*****s drop. Da glock strait up erry other strap just frontin wanna be liek da GLock.

Dirty got dem paper stacks from that pretty boy swag and that soundcloud money. So he like to floss with fancy gats.

Y'all know Hi Point be tha heater for real on these streets.

P320 all the way.

Before or after it's dropped?

If you’re on a budget the Smith and Wesson M&P is an alright choice. But to be honest, if I could do it over again I’d buy a Glock.

Both the P320 and the FN509 are excellent pistols and you cannot go wrong with either. Both of them have very respectable triggers and ergos too. If the modularity option is important to you, then the Sig is the way to go. The ergos are six of one and half-dozen of the other. In Canada it doesn't really matter what you choose with our asinine laws.

I say go into the shop and actually feel them out. I didn't think I'd ever want a Glock (I tend to stay away from the most popular option by default) until I held one.

I'm still a big fan of the P320, regardless of what the internet tells you. My 320RX was excellent, and my new 320 with a Deltapoint is also great. The triggers on both of mine have been good, albeit not great.

I've been tossing around the idea of stippling the grip on my 320 for a bit more traction. The fact that I can buy a new frame for $50 makes me far more willing to try my hand at an amateur stipple job and is one of the elements of modularity that I do appreciate.

are you sure?

Sure of which? The weight is high, it's 5+ ounces heavier than a Glock 19 but nearly identical in size. Support? Who carries them, who makes holsters, where do I find magazines? The company has already changed hands/management once.

Glocks are great for a lot of reason. I certainly appreciate them. But not all those reasons are relevant to everyone. Arsenal is makes a top shelf product. It is an option for some if you are willing to stretch the budget. 5oz is not out of line with other choices.
