Hi all!

I have the money, I have the will, but I don't have a store selling it.

Its the Sako 85 Black Wolf. Does anyone know who has it in Canada?

You are all the best!

Have you thought of contacting Stoeger and asking them who are the stocking dealers?
They likely will not recommend one over the other, but they should offer a contact or two or three .
And even before that they should be able to tell you if there is one or more in country.
Just dont pay in full if you have to wait 6 months.

Not trying to hijack the thread but very related:

Has anyone had any luck with getting a response to an email sent to Stoeger? I am currently at 4 emails sent and zero responses.

I have gotten a reply from a stoger within a week, in a inquire about a sako grizzly. They said contact your local dealer.

Yup, their 'end' customer service is legendary. They don't really like talking to anyone but 'their' customers, the dealer / stockist.

Stoeger / Sako website has a stockists location button. Whilst its not perfect, it misses out Cabela's when I use it, it gives you an idea who stocks them.

Unfortunately, I hear some dealers also experience the same legendary customer service too.

Good luck, if I were you I would go the Prophet River route. You'll get quality service + Stoeger probably pick up the phone for them I would imagine.

I have had way better service and buying experiences from Prairie Gun Traders than from Prophet River. If I was looking to order another Sako I would be giving Darren a call not Clay.

Recently, I contacted Al Flaherty's about a Sako not mentioned on their website. Within a day they got back to me with a very good price compared to a site I mentioned as having it. I have always had great service from Al's, so wanted to order from them, plus supporting them against Mayor Tory. They contacted Stoeger, ordered the rifle and it was in my hands about two weeks later. Try them.

I cannot think of another dealer here on CGN who has given me better (and friendlier) service than Clay at Prophet River.

X2 Clay is awesome!! Ive had an order mess up on me and he replaced it with a better product and paid all the shipping expenses without me even asking. That being said I do alot of face to face dealing with Darren at PGT and he is good to deal w/.

I ordered a Cooper from Prophet River knowing it would take a while to be built. After 20 months of waiting finally got a rifle shipped to me, not what I ordered, no credit for return shipping. Finally after 2.5 years I got a rifle that I had to settle on. I ordered the stock I wanted in the original order and even though it is available it is over a year and I still do not have it. It has been over 5 years and even though all the pieces I wanted are in production I still don't have the rifle I ordered. I ordered a simple stainless sling swivel 3 years ago and still don't have it. I have not had 1 order from PR that did not at least one small hitch even though I have never even as much as asked for a discount on quoted price while I have bought a few rifles from PGTs with no hassles what so ever. So if someone asks my opinion I would recommend PGTs first.
