I have gotten a reply from a stoger within a week, in a inquire about a sako grizzly. They said contact your local dealer.
I have had way better service and buying experiences from Prairie Gun Traders than from Prophet River. If I was looking to order another Sako I would be giving Darren a call not Clay.
I cannot think of another dealer here on CGN who has given me better (and friendlier) service than Clay at Prophet River.
I ordered a Cooper from Prophet River knowing it would take a while to be built. After 20 months of waiting finally got a rifle shipped to me, not what I ordered, no credit for return shipping. Finally after 2.5 years I got a rifle that I had to settle on. I ordered the stock I wanted in the original order and even though it is available it is over a year and I still do not have it. It has been over 5 years and even though all the pieces I wanted are in production I still don't have the rifle I ordered. I ordered a simple stainless sling swivel 3 years ago and still don't have it. I have not had 1 order from PR that did not at least one small hitch even though I have never even as much as asked for a discount on quoted price while I have bought a few rifles from PGTs with no hassles what so ever. So if someone asks my opinion I would recommend PGTs first.I cannot think of another dealer here on CGN who has given me better (and friendlier) service than Clay at Prophet River.
