The new Tikka T1X Rimfire

Well.. that sucks for lack of a more appropriate term. I have a gorgeous T3 Hunter walnut stock that I intended to use for the T1x. If it shoots well in the synthetic stock the walnut stock may get some modifications to fit the new rifle. I don't exactly dislike synthetic, but nice furniture appeals to me.

It won’t need much trimming to get it to fit. Will try it as is for now, if I really don’t like it, I will make one of the T3 stock fit. Can’t wait to try it this weekend.
 
The Hornady 17 grain looks like the winner, saw a YouTube review and it had the best results out the different brands he used .

Just unboxed my .17HMR, here is my advice to those looking at this firearm, go and handle one, don't buy without seeing it first. I purchased a CZ 452 HB recently and was so impressed and just love it so was hoping that excitement followed thru with this T1x,, ummm no. My advice go actually look at one before buying.

That’s too bad, what don’t you like? Sorry but I laughed, I once bought a CZ FS 550 and felt the same way, ended up selling it on here. I guess we all have our preference. Hope it works out for you.
