Well now I know what to get for Christmas...of 2019.

So this stock is not a true drop in, there is going to be a bit of work to get it perfect but all mods will be inside the stock, the fitment of the action itself is perfect. It fits on the lug really well, how ever I ordered the bull barrel inletting and due to the barrel taper I will be bedding the entire stock to get the fitment like a factory stock. Action and bottom plate are to tight to drop in due to the magazine and bottom plate inner flange so minor shaping will be needed, the most attention will be around the mid barrel support and inlet to fit the gap. And for those wondering the Boyds to my CDN door was $450.

Ruger precision is really ugly, but in terms of precision, I dont think you can go wrong with either three.

How dare you! It does look plasticy but I can get over that if it's accurate. But maybe I'll look at the tikka if it's something special. CZ is sometimes expensive.

Epps currently lists the 16" barreled version with synthetic stock in .22LR in stock (two of them). Everywhere else there are only .17HMR, so is it a mistake?

I don't think they did in this case, there'd be some posts on the 17 HMR on RFC. Maybe there were, I haven't been following that sub-forum.

The is no threads or statements of receiving the 22lr in the states. The only thread is from an European gentlemen who has been testing his 22lr out. The Aussies have been testing the 17hmr. I was on the forum earlier today so the info is up to date

I had pre-ordered this thinking they were going to be out soon, but cancelled after the merchant told me he had no idea when they would be available. I bought a Rem 700 in 7mm mag instead.. lol
