i sent a money order in with it maybe i should not have
#### Canada Post. I am so triggered right now.
On my last 14 tracking numbers from the last 6 weeks, 1:12pm was the latest delivery.
Today, I got happy notification that both my Remington 870 & my Sig P226 Legion were out for delivery. 1pm comes around, the mail lady shows up. I say I've got some stuff to sign for, she says the parcels are with a different person today, and that person happens to be new. I wait an hour and a half and call the supervisor. He tells me she's new but he's confident she'll get around to delivering it today.
6:00pm rolls around. At this point I've been sitting outside my apartment lobby for 4 hours because I can't trust Canada Post to buzz up. I take breaks every 30 mins and go upstairs for 10-15, so I made a huge sign and taped it to the buzzers with my buzz information, name, apt, etc.
I call the supervisor at 6:10pm. He tells me she's already been here, and it must've been while I was upstairs. Says to check my mailbox for a slip.. nope. Nothing. He looks into it a bit more, and starts to sound very concerned.. tells me he'll call me back soon. He's going to physically search her truck/etc. She's gone home for the day.

THANK GOD. Got a great supervisor at Canada Post on the phone. They literally allowed me to come down to their depot that's closed to the public and it was 7:00pm which is pretty great. Real pissed off at their letter carrier, but damn that was a great supervisor. He made it right.
I am now the proud owner of a P226 Legion & my first shotgun. Glock & Wilson Combat AR yet to come!

Not sure how there system works, my experience is that on two occasions I checked on a Friday afternoon (around 4PM EDT) and the next time I looked was on the Sunday and there was be a change. It could be that the public facing system (the one you log into) is not "live" in the sense that the moment someone changes the status, the public site doesn't change and only updates overnight or some other frequency. Or it's possible that both cases of mine were done after the last time I checked late on a Friday. Or it's possible that work was done on the weekend.

I was hoping to get mine approved by Friday since I got status updated to "Your Application has completed initial processing. It is now in progress. Please check the status again at a later date." since the Friday before. Seems like people usually get theirs approved within a week but not me. Chronically checking RCMP website as we speak...
I'm on week 2 of your app has completed initial processing. Charged my cc then too, I was thinking maybe this week. Checking here and the website daily now, day 46. Ontario.
Im sitting on day 115 as of today (October 1st, 2018). I called the Ontario CFO last week. Managed to get the officers extension that is handling my application. My application got flagged, and was sent to the folks that handle additional screening. The voicemail mentioned they are quite far behind with applications, and priority is on renewals, and they will call you back if you leave your information. I'm still awaiting a call back so I can get this sorted. Being a first time applicant I have a feeling i'll be waiting quite a bit until they get to me.
