Personnally i really like the the p226 legion , ldc or mk25 visually.

Which one would be the best?

I dont mind spending money on upgrade.

Just want a good accurate metal 9mm in the 226 platform. That i really like.

i know theres dozens of 226 variants.

I have a LDC Gen 1 and it one of my favourites, it shoots so well it’s hard to miss. This is my first German made Sig and it really does make a difference, the machining is noticeably crisper and the finishing is just a little better than my Exeter made Sigs.
The trigger is extremely smooth on mine and there is no perceptible difference between the trigger feel between my LDC and and a buddy’s xfive all around.
It is an all steel pistol so is combined with the extra material in the extra dust cover is much heavier than a Legion or the mk25.
The LDC trigger is as far as I can tell the same as the xfive and has a overtravel adjustment screw. The short reset trigger on the LDC is also noticably shorter than a legion or elite etc...the mk25 does not include a short reset trigger but it’s a pretty easy job to add.
I dont have a legion but I have shot a few and they feel very nice.
The work Sig did on the frame is nice with the xfive style relief cut at the rear of the trigger guard and the reduced beaver tail is sweet.
The legion’s sights and hogue g10 grips are fantastic and you get a solid steel guide rod instead of the standard MIM one. These are all things that a lot of Sig owners add to the p226 through the aftermarket so it’s a nice package that way.
I’m not a fan of the legion’s gray colour or logo’s and the reduced controls I find hard to operate.
The gimmicky legion special club is not for me but to each his/her own.
I like the Grey Guns trigger but honestly there isn’t anything special in the way of extra smoothness or reduced pull weight over a standard p226 elite. (a trigger gauge pulls the same on both in da and sa).
The mk25 has no beavertail a chrome lined barrel some extra internal coating to enhance the inhibition of rust, a true 1913 mil spec rail instead of the slightly rounded proprietary Sig one and a badass anchor on the slide.

I added hogue g10 grips, solid steel guide rods and Armoury craft triggers to all my p series Sigs and it’s amazing how good they are!

So I guess what I’m saying is Sig p series pistols are awesome and as long as you are cool with the da/sa aspect (though you can get sa only as well) you really can’t go wrong with whatever you choose.
Buy the one that appeals the most and then another and another... I doesn’t take long to be infected by the Signess.

Apples and oranges really, the LDC is a steel framed target pistol from Germany, the other two are aluminum alloy framed service pistol grade pistols from the US. In a Canadian context where you’re not allowed to carry for the most part a heavier gun is more attractive. The Legion is a good looking pistol, but there are some questions about the toughness of the finish. I’ve got both a Legion and an LDC. If I had to sell one I’d ditch the Legion. That said, if I was competing in IPSC, I’d get a CZ Shadow 2.

In my opinion the Legion is the best of the bunch right out of the box.

The sights and GG trigger aren't matched by the MK25 or the LDC. What I really wish is that they'd make Legions steel framed instead of aluminum. It's not like people actually use them for CC.

The Legion series has many loyal fans, Personally, I never felt the trigger was noticeably different from the one on the Scorpion I had. I shoot better groups with my LDC than my Legion, even better groups with my X5 Alround and still better groups with my Shadow 2. Of the four guns mentioned, the Legion sees the least range time.

I was about to ask almost the same question : i have an sig p226 elite dark and i don't know if i will see noticeable difference with the legion ?

Overall, I think the Enhanced Elite is the best bang for buck. Beavertail, SRT, night sights, smooth mechanics, and the E2 grip. Would take the EE over the Legion any day but that's just me

I'm more experienced with striker fired pistols but had the opportunity to fire one mag from a Legion. It was awesome - And I was accurate - And it is Black Friday :)

People will claim they are heads and tails above, but I honestly can’t feel any noticeable difference. I’d bet money if you used a load cell to plot the trigger force over the pull they would be close to the same.

I’ve owned four P226s and the Legion is my favourite...it’s one of my favourite all-time pistols, actually. For me, what I like are the sights, the grips, and the trigger, especially the SA pull, which has adjustable over-travel. I don’t care for the smaller than usual controls, though. I’ve not worked mine hard, so I can’t attest to the durability of the finish. I wrote a more detailed post on mine here when I first got I think a couple of years ago.

X5 for the ultimate P226. I have other 226's and like them a lot but they are not in the same league as the X5. The rest are different lipstick on the same lips...

I have a 226 stainless elite, the extended beavertails are ugly af in my opinion, I like the aesthetics of the Mk25.

The ext beavtail on LDC is bugging me. Might go with legion.

I don't even really like the vestigial beavertail on the Legion...I would've preferred the standard P226 look...hmmm, a "classic" Legion model styled like a non-railed 1980s P226 would really pique my interest.
