New Canadian made Action by Insite Arms

No professional affiliation with Insite, they have spun up some barrels for me in the past, and they will get my business in the future if I need some work done in Canada.

Got to handle a prototype of the action at the Meaford PRS match a couple of years ago - was a good concept and I was excited about it.

Not sure what phase they are in with that action now, that would have to be answered by Insite.
 
I think it may have something to do with market saturation too. Lots of options, including newer budget version actions from Bighorn and Defiance, are coming out of the US. Plus lots of Canadian-made actions have entered the market in the last year. Throw in the recent economic downturn in AB, if there are no buyers, it doesn't matter how great the product is.

I dunno, ATRS still seems to be building a pile of rifles and with the looney circling the toilet their actions are a bargain compared to US made 1s like Defiance and the quality is just as good. I have some of both so can honestly compare them side by side.
 
Ran 5 prototypes and everything was quite good but it always lacked the details we wanted. We have taken the project inhouse now and will continue the project in the new year. New HAAS will be here next week and finally give us all the tools required to produce the action the way we have intended from day 1. All great things take time and we never felt the need to rush a action into production that we weren't 100 % happy with. 2019 will be a good year for sure...New Heathen Hybrid will be out in January as well and some new products coming off the machines. Will keep everyone posted...thanks
