STAG-10 In the Wild!

I wouldn't go as far as to say it was in the "wild", but it's finally here, just in time for Christmas.

How you like the primary arms?

Hey is that the EBR2 or EBR3 bolt catch release? Solid or does it have some slop?

Well I got my Stag 10 built and out to the range Friday.

Only shot some cheap Remington core lokt 140gr 6.5 creedmoor and some match 140gr Barnes OTM.

Had absolutely 0 FTF or FTE, unlike my BCL 102

Groups were decent, around MOA off a bipod. I know the rifle will do better with ammo it likes or handloads.

My build list is

Upper/Lower Receiver Stag Arms 10
Stock Magpul CTR
Buffer Tube VSeven Weapons Carbine Length
Buffer Spring JP Enterprises SCSS
Castle Nut + Endplate VSeven Weapons Lightweight Combo
Scope Vortex Razor HD LH 3-15x42
Optic Mount. Aero Precision Cantilever
Bolt Carrier Group VSeven Weapons Titanium
Trigger Triggertech Curved, Adjustable
Barrel McGowen 19", 416 Stainless, MHBAR, Fluted, 6.5 Creedmoor
Handguard VSeven Weapons Hyperlight Magnesium 15"
Barrel Nut VSeven Weapons Titanium
Muzzle Device VSeven Weapons Titanium
Gas Block SLR Rifleworks 0.75" Clamp-on, Adjustable
Gas Tube BAD Rifle Length
Charging Handle Radian Weapons AR10 Raptor
Bolt Catch Phase 5
Sling Ferro Concepts Slingster, Coyote Brown

Now here is a question. What would I need, part wise, to convert to an a1 or a2 stock?

Stock (could you believe?)
Rifle length buffer tube (AR15 /AR10 receiver extension)
Spacer to fill the longer tube or AR10 rifle length spring and buffer
Buttpad and bolt may be included with the stock

Anyone have or know where to find a 12/12.5" quad rail for one of these?? My Receiver set is on its way and I have my A2 stock also on the way for it...tryna do a SR25 or M110 clone

Not gonna lie, I'm sort of at half mast right now.

I am also very aroused by this...

Very nice.

THAT my friend, looks amazing!!!

It’s got that look.

I want to try something different so I took the risk and spent the money. Overall I very happy with it. It’s not much lighter than the factory handgaurd but it pulls the weight closer the receiver and really balanced it out. The triangle shape is also very comfortable.

Only two complaints. I’m wanting to use a VFG and will have to get very creative and drill some holes in the carbon fibre. Probably can live without it... but I’ve become accustomed to a VFG for a easy of carry and a handstop. And the handgaurd goes a tad over the gas block. I wanted to remove the top rail and use a railed gas block because a top rail on the handgaurd is useless to me... Oh well, it gives me an excuse to run a adjustable block.

Going with a Griffin Armaments M2 sight for the front BUIS as it has the slimmest profile base

Haven’t decided on a rear sight yet. Optics... might just slap my Mark 4 3.5-10x40 on it and call it a day.

Can you not swap the top and bottom rail on that handguard? You would have enough room for your bipod adapter and a VFG and then you have that small rail on the top for a BUIS?

Top rail is rounded at the base. The bottom is flat. PRI does make a long rail for the bottom. Not to sure if it will go far enough rearward for my preferred location of a VFG.
