rather have a gauge or pistol. can not see a real need for this...but if u have money to burn.....

If you have money to burn on range only toys, I would think a non-res carbine that isn't registered and being threaten to be banned, at a price at or below a lot of pistols, can be afforded.
But I understand if money is tight in AB, maybe in a year or two.

Anybody come up with a good case option? I'm hoping for a toolbox with the minimum dimensions to accommodate the rifle broken down with enough room for a few mags or box of ammo. Something inconspicuous that you could leave in the truck.

You could go with a 24" tripod bag. Very low profile. I cut up an old sleeping bag pad for liners.

Case marked as a firearm as per the ridiculous case law.

Anyone know if these shoot aluminum and or steel? Not that important to me, but I know some pistol caliber carbines don’t like steel or aluminum. It’s nice to have a gun that shoots everything you put in it.

i shot some MSF just fine, what are those?

I'm partial to the single-strap "tanker sling" bags, either with MOLLE setup on the outside or pockets....

Then ur imagination is rather limited! NR PCCs make for excellent little small game hunting rifles and plinkers.

Maybe I glossed over it, but what is the consensus of a sight being mounted on that rear piccatiny rail being repeatable with poa / poi after multiple teardowns and putting it back together?

I played with one at CSC yesterday - ~$830 +tax IIRC.

life has been busy and i have not been able to get back out to the range and sit and play with a scope on it yet.
but i know that my 10/22 take down there is no difference in POI when i take it apart and put it back together.
id imagine the same for this as it is pretty near 100% the same in regards to how it goes together.

i have seen forward mounted rails that replace the rear sight if people are violently against the take down and reassembly POI issue.

I zeroed my reddot then repeatedly took the rifle apart. The zero is more or less intact at both 25 and 50.

Took mine out to the range this morning for the first time. Loaded the first couple mags with "scraps" I had left over from various reloads and factory ammo. Fed all of them perfectly. I then tried out some min loads with 145gr LRN, +P 124gr loads, and some Win factory 147gr loads. Everything cycled perfectly and hit to the same point of impact at 25yds. Pretty happy with it so far. Will do some more shooting next weekend.

Mine has worked with Magpul, KCI, ETS, and OEM Glock mags.

I tried a Glock 22 mag in mine and it worked just fine fully loaded. OEM Glock 9mm mags also worked 100%.

+1 on the KCI magazines. Mine work fine.
