Looking through YouTube, I’m amazed at all the videos for this gun that hasn’t been around that long really .... I think it might eventually meet the popularity of the ar15, ak (in the u.s.), and the 10/22. There’s already an aftermarket rail for a flashlight and Tandemkross has a new trigger; it’ll be interesting to see what all comes out for it. Ruger really came out with a winner on this, now, when are they gonna make a take down mini 14?

Ordered mine from Cabelas on the 18th and arrived on the 21st. Oh yeah, today I got an e-mail today from Canada post that it has been shipped....lol.

i just ordered a bunch of 9mm glock mags.
about $300 worth.
im interested to see if they all run good in this rifle.

i just have a bunch of OEM and KCI mags and they run just fine, nothing over 10rd's though.
will be interested to see how the 30+ round ones that are pinned run.

I'm really holding out to see what happens after shot show with ruger and the pc carbine.
I already reload 45acp, a pcc in a calibre I currently reload would be some nice.

If nothing comes, 9mm is cheap enough I'll just buy it food.

I been using the 30 rounds ones consistently in mine and they work well. Little bit of a wobble since they stick out quite a bit but have had no issues.

I just became aware of a sale at the Tsawassen Mills Bass Pro, they have it on and have stock at $725. I'm going to pick mine up on Saturday. I called the store direct and they took my order over the phone. Only way to order without being there in person, due to them not having their own website.

For a carry bag, an alternative to the 10/22 takedown is the Hazard 4 Plan B sling pack. I saw a website where they showed it fitting once taken down. I just got mine off Amazon and it arrived today. They're about $100. Easily fits a few hundred rounds of ammo, mags, etc.

I'm noticing that some people have extras of the shorter Ruger SR9 mags. It would be appreciated if you could share where you got those from.

Good to know that they take phone in orders ... they never seem to have any stock of their items on sale.

The hazard 4 pack looks great, but it lacks the individual pockets for the barrel and stock sections that other bags have ... maybe that’s not important?

Just picked it up today. Really nice customer service at Bads Pro, I have to say.

It came with one of the butt stock spacers installed. It has an extra 2 as well. I found that in the Hazard 4 pack, it just squeezes in with that one spacer. It has a mesh organizer in the main compartment that I found perfect for putting in the barrel muzzle end up, then it has a velcro organizer that I used to give separation and cover up most of the exposed barrel, then put in the buttstock. Seems like it won't get damaged at all, it's all nice and tight. Still plenty of space in the main compartment to fit other items, the rifle only takes up about half. The larger pocket on the front can easily fit 3 magazines, my sling and a Vortex Strikefire red dot. I used the upper pocket to carry all my tools. Ammo can be stored in the side pockets. The last compartment can store even more, and takes a 2L hydration pack.

I'm a big fan so far. The pack is really compact, and the Grayman version doesn't look nefarious in the least.

Will this Bass Pro take phone orders and ship to SK?
